Stakeholder Relations and ESG Ratings

Engaging with our stakeholders is a central component of our sustainability strategy. These include customers, suppliers, business partners, investors, NGOs, political stakeholders, competitors, and regulatory bodies, as well as our employees. Through ongoing dialogue, we identify expectations and trends early on, address relevant issues, and regularly review our progress.

Many sustainability goals can only be achieved through collaboration. That is why we are actively involved in international initiatives and industry networks spanning business, politics, academia, and civil society.

We participate in various initiatives and are committed to adhering to their standards. These include, among others:

  • amfori Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI)
  • International Labour Organization (ILO)
  • Cerrado Manifesto Statement of Support Group
  • Consumer Goods Forum – Forest Positive Coalition and Sustainable Supply Chain Initiative
  • Global Dialogue on Seafood Traceability (GDST)
  • Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO)
  • Roundtable for Responsible Soy (RTRS)
  • Science Based Targets Initiative
  • UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
  • World Resources Institute (WRI) Champion 12.3 – 10x20x30 Initiative

Our own dialogue formats – such as events in Berlin – bring together representatives from politics, the food service industry, and retail to discuss common challenges and develop solutions.
